1. Application & Developer Identification

This Privacy Policy specifically governs the mobile application Subly: Subscription Tracker (herein referred to as the "Application" or "Subly", bearing the Android package name com.jay.subly), created, developed, and published by Vaalee ("Developer", "we", "us", or "our") on the Google Play Store.

This policy details our standards regarding the handling, storage, and protection of user data in full alignment with Google Play Developer Program Policies, specifically the User Data policy.

2. Information Collection and Handling

A. Personal & Financial Information You Input

When you use Subly to manage recurring expenses, you may create records that include:

• Subscription or service names (e.g., Netflix, Spotify, Gym, Cloud Storage)
• Pricing and payment amounts
• Billing frequencies and renewal cycle dates
• Payment categories, payment methods, and personal notes
• Custom monthly budget limits and chosen base currency

Storage & Privacy: All such entered data is stored exclusively on your local device storage within the app's isolated sandbox. We do not operate remote servers, user account databases, or cloud sync systems for your financial information. We never access, harvest, aggregate, or view your subscriptions.

B. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect personal identifying information (e.g., legal names, home addresses, phone numbers, email passwords).
• We do not collect, view, or process bank account numbers, credit card numbers, or debit card CVVs.
• We do not sell, rent, disclose, or trade any user information to third-party data brokers, marketers, or analytics aggregators.

3. Device Permissions & Technical Justification

Subly requests only the minimal set of Android system permissions required to provide essential utility functionality:

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+): Used solely to deliver local push notification alerts reminding you of upcoming bill and subscription renewal dates at the times you configure. Notification schedules are managed entirely on-device via Android's local WorkManager and notification manager.
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / Alarm Management: Utilized to trigger local alarm schedules at the precise time requested for renewal notices.
• INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required exclusively to communicate with Google Play Billing APIs (for optional Subly PRO licenses) and Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) for serving standard platform advertisements in accordance with Google Play developer policies.

4. Third-Party SDKs & Service Providers

To support distribution and monetization, Subly integrates trusted, industry-standard Google platform libraries:

• Google Play In-App Billing: Handles transactions for optional Subly PRO upgrades. Financial processing is managed securely and directly by Google LLC. We do not receive, store, or process payment cards or banking credentials.
• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Used to deliver non-intrusive banner and interstitial advertisements in the free version. AdMob may process pseudonymous advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID / AAID) and device diagnostic information to deliver relevant ads and prevent fraudulent traffic in accordance with Google's Advertising Policies and Google Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention, Backup, and Deletion Rights

Because all application data is stored locally on your device:

• Deletion: You can delete individual subscription records at any time within the app. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling Subly immediately and permanently deletes all stored subscriptions and settings from your device.
• Backup & Export: Subly includes a local JSON database export feature. Backup files are saved only to the file directory or cloud storage location you explicitly select via the Android system file picker.

6. Children's Privacy

Subly does not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The application is rated for general audiences (Everyone) and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play Families Policy requirements.

7. Security Safeguards

We prioritize the security of your data. Because all subscription records remain on-device, your information is protected by Android's application sandboxing, permissions isolation, and operating system disk encryption.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect modifications in application functionality, operating system requirements, or Google Play policy guidelines. The "Effective Date" at the top of this document indicates when the latest revision took effect.
